Deaf Welfare Awareness foundation was first established in 1977 by Sheikh Muhammad Mansha, the President of the foundation. Sheikh Muhammad Mansha suffers from deafness himself and hence he understands the plight of the deaf community better than anyone. It is his own experience that has been driving him to work tirelessly for the betterment of the deaf community for almost 5 decades. In 2022, at the age of 80+ years, Mr. Mansha continues his efforts and serves as both a guardian and an example to the very people he is trying to help, that they can accomplish anything they dream of regardless of what they world around them tells them, and Deaf Welfare Awareness foundation is dedicated to erasing all obstacles in their way
At Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation we believe that every human placed on God’s green Earth with his will deserves the same kindness, compassion and most importantly, the same opportunities to build the life they dream of without any hindrance being put in their way from the pre-established notions of what kind of humans are capable of doing so. We believe that the notions which have been set in place that prohibit these individuals from making their place in society are out-dated and should be demolished to allow a new era of prosperity where every human receives their equal share of the world which the creator made for all of us
Our slogan at Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation is “Let’s Move Together” because we believe that the systems which discriminate against certain individuals are run by humans, and should humans collectively decide to rid society of such discrimination, we are more than capable of building a world full of prosperity for all. So come, let’s move together
